This is one of my favorite chocolate chip cookie recipes; it’s from Martha Stewart. The pumpkin seeds are a nice change from the usual nuts that you might add. Enjoy! ---Karly CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES WITH PUMPKIN SEEDS 2 ¼ cups flour 1 teaspoon baking soda Salt 2 sticks butter, room temperature 1 ½ cups packed brown sugar ¾ cups granulated sugar 2 eggs 2 teaspoons vanilla 2 cups chocolate chips ½ to 1 cup pumpkin seeds Whisk the flour, baking soda, and a pinch of salt together in a bowl; set aside. In a separate bowl with a mixer, cream the butter and sugars together until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time and beat well after each addition. Beat in the vanilla. Stir in the chocolate chips and pumpkin seeds. Drop onto a cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 14-16 minutes. Printer-Friendly Version: ![]()
